AgriBank and EW!DC Join Forces to Raise Funds for Child Literacy and Mentoring

Annual Ag community golf tournament raises more than $100,000 to support Everybody Wins! DC’s work with Washington youth

WASHINGTON, September 10, 2015 – Title sponsor, AgriBank, the St. Paul-based Farm Credit Bank, once again partnered with Everybody Wins! DC (EW!DC), the Washington Metropolitan Area’s largest children’s literacy and mentoring non-profit, to present the 2015 AgriBank Ag Open golf tournament on Tuesday, September 8th at Queenstown Harbor.

AgriBank is one of the largest banks within the national Farm Credit System, a nationwide network of borrower-owned lending institutions with the singular mission of supporting rural communities and agriculture with reliable, consistent credit and financial services.

Through the support of AgriBank and the other 44 sponsors, the AgriBank Ag Open raised more than $100,000 for EW!DC’s signature mentoring and literacy programs. AgriBank, a long-time tournament supporter, took over the title sponsorship in 2014.

EW!DC Executive Director Mary Salander said, “We are so grateful to AgriBank and all of our sponsors for their generous support. Not only is this a great way to enjoy the final days of summer, but all of our participants are helping to support our mission of promoting literacy in the DC area.”
