AgriBank Announces 2020 Board of Directors


ST. PAUL, Minn., March 13, 2020—AgriBank today announced the results of elections for four positions on its 18-member board of directors as well as the election of its chair and vice chair. The elections took place this week at the AgriBank 2020 Annual Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee.

CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR

RICHARD DAVIDSON (CHAIR)
Richard Davidson, of Washington Courthouse, Ohio, is president of Davidson Farms, Inc. and vice president of DSF, Inc., a grain farm, cow/calf herd, and beef cattle operation. He has served on the AgriBank board since 2005 and has served as chair from 2011-2013 and since 2019. He is also a director of the Federal Agricultural Mortgage Corporation (Farmer Mac).

NICK VANDE WEERD (VICE CHAIR)
Nick Vande Weerd, of Brookings, S.D., owns dairy and livestock operations that include corn, soybeans and alfalfa. He has served on the AgriBank board since 2015. Vande Weerd previously served on the Farm Credit Services of America board.

DIRECTORS

DONALD BLANKENSHIP
Donald Blankenship, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., grows corn, wheat, soybeans, hay, and straw, and raises beef cows. He previously served on the board of Farm Credit Mid-America.

ROBERT BRUXVOORT
Robert Bruxvoort, of New Sharon, Iowa, produces corn and soybeans, and operates a custom hog finishing operation. He previously served on the board of Farm Credit Services of America.

STAN CLAUSSEN
Stan Claussen, of Montevideo, Minn., raises corn, corn silage, sugar beets, canning crops, and soybeans, as well as installs drainage tile and land improvement projects. He has served on the AgriBank board since 2016 and previously served on the board of United FCS (which merged with AgCountry Farm Credit Services).

RANDY PETERS
Randy Peters, of McCook, Neb., operates a seed cleaning facility; raises wheat seed and pea seed; grows corn, soybeans, sunflowers, and alfalfa; and has a cow/calf operation. He previously served on the board of Farm Credit Services of America.
