AgriBank and SunStream Business Services Announce Remote Work Event

Bank and Service Entity Will Be Fully Operational Through Coronavirus Pandemic

ST. PAUL, Minn., March 18, 2020 –AgriBank and its SunStream Business Services division today announced that their approximately 200 employees, who are based in St. Paul, are required to work from home or another remote location effective immediately through March 31, 2020. This requirement is mandatory for all employees except those designated by executive leadership to report to the office for specific purposes.

“Employee safety and continuation of business operations will remain top priorities for AgriBank and SunStream during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic,” said AgriBank CEO Jeff Swanhorst. “Working remotely will facilitate social distancing to protect employees and others from contracting or spreading the virus.”

The organizations conducted a test for several days by having most employees work from home or elsewhere. They will continue to test and refine workplace continuity and remote functionality to ensure they can continue business operations uninterrupted and meet customers’ needs.

The mandatory remote work requirement will remain in effect through March 31; a decision about extending this mandate will be made on or near that date.
