AgriBank and SunStream Business Services Extend Remote Work Event Through May 1

Bank and Service Entity Are Fully Operational Through Coronavirus Pandemic

ST. PAUL, Minn., March 27, 2020 –AgriBank and its SunStream Business Services division today announced that their approximately 200 employees, who are based in St. Paul, will continue working from home or another remote location through May 1, 2020 in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This requirement, which began as a test on March 17 and was originally extended to run through March 31, is mandatory for all employees except those designated by executive leadership to report to the office for specific purposes.

“Working remotely for an extended period will further facilitate social distancing to protect employees and others from contracting or spreading the virus,” said AgriBank CEO Jeff Swanhorst. “The situation is very fluid, and we will continue to evaluate our remote work requirement with the safety of our employees and their families and the continuation of business operations being our top priorities.”

AgriBank and SunStream continue to monitor and refine workplace continuity and remote functionality to ensure they can continue business operations uninterrupted and meet customers’ needs. The organizations expect the mandatory remote work requirement to remain in effect through May 1; however, they could decide to shorten or extend this mandate if circumstances change.
