AgriBank Announces 2024-2025 Board of Directors


ST. PAUL, Minn., March 7, 2024—AgriBank today announced election results for four positions on its board of directors as well as the election of its chair and vice chair. The elections took place this week during the AgriBank 2024 Annual Meeting. Elected directors serve four-year terms, and the board elects officers each year.

Newly Elected Chair and Vice Chair

STAN CLAUSSEN (CHAIR)
Stan Claussen, of Montevideo, Minn., raises corn, sugar beets, soybeans and alfalfa. Claussen has served on the AgriBank board since 2016, served as vice chair from 2019-2020 and 2021-2023, and has served as chair since 2023. Claussen previously served on the board of United FCS.

CHRIS ROBERTS (VICE CHAIR)
​Chris Roberts, of Olive Branch, Miss., farms rice, corn and soybeans. Roberts has served on the AgriBank board since 2022 and as vice chair since 2023. He previously served on the board of Farm Credit Midsouth.

Newly Elected Directors

In addition to Claussen, newly elected directors are:

DONALD BLANKENSHIP
Donald Blankenship, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., grows corn, wheat, soybeans, hay, and straw, and raises beef cows. He has served on the AgriBank board since 2020. Blankenship previously served on the board of Farm Credit Mid-America.

RANDY PETERS
Randy Peters, of McCook, Neb., operates a seed cleaning facility; raises wheat seed and pea seed; grows corn, soybeans, sunflowers, and alfalfa; and has a cow/calf operation. He has served on the AgriBank board since 2020. Peters previously served on the board of Farm Credit Services of America.

JENNIFER ZESSIN
Jennifer Zessin, of Madison, Neb., raises corn, soybeans, wheat and alfalfa. The operation includes equipment and trucking entities. Zessin previously served on the board of Farm Credit Services of America.
